How's the winter been treating you so far? We've been out boarding, skating and even got into quite the snowball fight. What's up next on our fun to-do list? Taking in a couple of the 120 films at the Beloit International Film Festival (Feb. 16-19), hitting up the night snow tubing and softball on ice at the Bayfield Winter Festival (March 2-4) and celebrating all things Irish at the annual Milwaukee's St. Patrick's Day Parade (March 10). Visit our Facebook page for more fun activities and events.

And if you know any friends that need an excuse to get out and have a little (indoor or outdoor) fun, give them a Winter Break in Wisconsin. Check out the Take a Winter Break Facebook app.

We Love Winter

Still embracing winter? If you haven't gotten your fill of outdoor winter fun, now is your chance to get out before it's gone. Hit the snowmobile trails (over 25,000 miles!), clip into those skis that have been in the closet all season and do it downhill or slow it down a bit with a cross-country ski outing or snowshoe trek. When you're ready to come back in, make a stop at the Wollersheim Winery Open House (March 3-4) for cooking with wine demonstrations and tours. Take advantage while Old Man Winter is still hanging around! Read more >
